Civil War Soldier
HW: History Quiz
Reading Journals 5.1-5.5 due Friday

I was picked for the blog again. We just walked in the library and are getting ready to listen to the actor. the actor is playing a confederate soldier from Louisiana. The soldier is explaining why he was fighting in the war. He was a poor farmer who was fighting for his fmily. His rank was private and his company was g. The soldier was explaining why the war was started the soldier moved on and was explaining what his little sister would do during the day.

The soldier was explaining a piece of food called hard tack it was a sort of cracker. He next started to talk about how hw would steal from the farms the regiments would march by. He then told us if you fell asleep on guard duty you would be punished. Then he brought up that he and one of his soldier buddys would race lice. Now he told us the weapons he would use. The soldier said that battles were chaos and confusion. now hes talking about if you get shot you dont die instantly all the time. The hospitals then were just a farm and they would hold you down and cut off your arm or leg. The bell is about to ring and people can taste the hard tack. Peace.
