Ok now it's my turn to do the blog and I don't feel so good. Ms. Nakada tells us to take out a page for cornell notes and Samantha's over there day dreaming again. DJ is roasting on somebody but I can't tell. Ms. Nakada still does not know her students names.  She called Angel, Christian. Ms. Nakada tells us we have to draw another map and DJ says I love to draw maps when I know he doesn't. It seems like everybody needs a pencil today and I'm slowly running out of pencils. The room is so quiet and as you know DJ has to mess it and say, "What are you doing?" so the whole class can hear. I'm right next to the door and I hear this singing "No One" by Alicia Keys. I'm shakin my head. Mr. Miller right next door yelling at his students. Luckily Ms. Nakada doesn't yell at us only at DJ. Somebody just got in trouble for passing a note lol. Kemonte is over there acting like he some kind of A student or something. DJ just farted but he actually got out of his seat and went out side.  What a shocker. Ms. Nakada is putting Kemonte on blast right now lol. Mr. Berne just came in and all of the students, everybody just got quiet. DJ is in his chair listening to his ipod and jerkin and trying to rap. Ms. Nakada tells every one that report cards come out next week. Everybody gasped like the world was going to end. DJ just farted and said, "That slipped out."  Ms. Nakada tells us that we have to do this thing called a propaganda and I'm sitting here seeing what I'm supposed to do.

Well, it's my turn writing the blog and sadly no one was laughing what Kemonte wrote on his blog. Sucks for u... Ok so now were reading "The Eagle" thing why are we always reading it weird, ok? And now DJ and Gary are talking bout peanuts ahaha wow FRUITY! lol jk  and Ms. Nakada's is reading about the poem and surpising gary is peeking at the blog like I don't notice. DJ is always saying to put ''he's a man child!" and Cushan is reading my blog too and now people are making fun of Tiera :/ like always but she knows they're just kidding. So, now we're reading The Outsiders and after we're reading some pages DJ took a nap and I think he was drooling eww ... So now people are reading the books by them selves. They all look like zombies and now everyones laughing because Ms. Barbeau is screaming out loud and she's like in the room next to us and we can still hear her. Cushan and Kemonte are staring at each other and Kemonte is dancing in the chair and suddenly everyones is using the bathroom. Weird how one person goes and then everyone goes  it.  Finally, everyone's t done reading the chapter and people are talking and writing during writer's workshop, well talking mostly. Jesse was waiting for Cushan to come from the bathroom. Darrell was doing the peepee dance and Ms. Nakada let him go instead of Jesse. Jesse has this weird face like omg? Cushan just hit the back of Cindy's chair and said ohh wee mamasita lol umm okkayyy and again Tiera and Cushan are fighting and Ms. Nakada's saying hold ur pee gosh ! Now girls are saying this thing bout girls are better than boys ... are they?  Jennifer called me lazy. I'm not! Why do people stare at each other and hit each other in the head? Ms. Gonnella just said she's old and can't read. She's looking at the paper and wondering if she brought her glasses. ahaha It's a good thing Ms. Nakada told me to keep on typing. She was right. A lot of stuff did happen. smh Ms.Gonnella is getting older aha lol and jennifer is asking what's a flat tide. What is it that by the way? Cushan is on the floor acting like he's dieing ? Really wow!  Grow up!

Ms. Nakada just said, "Why are you talking?" We are now listing 3 people who have influenced you. Andrew keeps on singing.  Cushan keeps on rubbing his head on Cindy lol.  Now Andrew is singing  to Gary. Ms. Nakada is drawing herself. Josh came back to class late. He was getting a uniform shirt.  DJ has a towel in his mouth.  Cushan and Gary were just fighting about a pen. Gary just slapped Cushan's hand and now he is sucking on it lol.  Shavon is over there saying stop. The class has to draw a picture of someone that inspired us. Samantha is making a noise like a Barbie Doll.

Now we are in History. DJ  and Cushan  came into the class and were roasting on each other. We are going over our notes for quiz #2. Christian is looking like he does not know what is going on.  Someone just passed gas, man what did you eat last night? It stinks bad. What is that smell? Matthew is in his own world looking at the wall.We are about to take a test. I will be back. Now I am back.  Josh is over there falling asleep. That is the second time. Logan just walked out  of class and she just dismissed. Peace.

Well, right now were in English class 3 period and Ms. Nakada is talking about a poem called "The Eagle." Now she's talking about cartoon characters with alliterative names. We're reading a poem by Langston Hughes named "Poem." Cushan looks like he's in a daze. Christian looks like he's very into his work, but also confused about what we're doing. Ms. Nakada is telling us about our points on the assignments that we turned in. "We have 7 book projects to do," Ms. Nakada said. Khalifah looks tired. Cindy has a determined look on her face. Christian looks confused about what Ms.Nakada is saying but I'm sure he will get back on task in a minute. Well, we're about to do writers workshop. We're being told how to plug up the alphasmart and get all of the words that we typed onto the computer. Cindy just bumped into Quieana's stomach; I think it was on purpose. I just asked Christian if he was confused and he says he's very confused, and doesn't remember his number for alphasmart, SMH :-\ poor Christian. Celmy starts laughing because Christian still doesn't remember his number & Cushan keeps walking around the class. Christian just told me someone erased his paragraph on alphasmart for period 3 which is all bad. He has to type everything back up. GOSH. Today might NOT be Christian's day :-( I feel bad for him! It's so HOT>:O. Gary is looking around like he doesn't know what to type or what to do. Well, I have to do my work so BRB ! Well, I'm back and finished with writers workshop. Cushan looks HOT and TIRED.

Yaay! We're in history ! We're checking our scores right about now. Cushan and Andrew are out of their seats and are fighting I guess. SMH, boys these days! We're going over the quizzes and how to get more points on the quiz. Every one is talking quietly while were going over the quiz. Some people in the back of the class start talking about how Kemonte just said Russia was a continent. Now we're answering about states in the west and midwest and etc. Christian is picking at his sweater and it's really HOT and I don't even know why he has it on if he's going to pick at it. Gary is talking to Cushan and he's just laughing. Cindy looks very sleepy and irritated :-\ thats NOT good at all. Now people are talking and laughing. Christian told me NOT to type that he was banging his head with a water bottle but I'm typing it any way because he shouldn't have told me NOT to type it.  Cushan just did his weird laugh. We have to do cornell notes. UGH i really don't like them but I have to do it and study them. Ms. Nakada just said hello mates lol. Ms. Nakada just said who would like to present ........ and Christian and Andrew yell Me before she could even say the name of the person SMH! Vanessa just yelled you guys aren't the colonist of England to some group. Christian randomly starts laughing and it makes me laugh very awkward moment but it was funny. Leslie randomly yells Pirates of the Caribbean. Angela is fanning Tiera with a notebook. lol it looks funny. Ms. Nakada is talking about claiming lands and etc. The class is kind of loud.    Well, there period is over so BYE !

Ms. Nakada is over saying Gary needs some glasses. Right now we are talking about the book The Outsiders. This book is about a gang of greasers who fight with their rival gang the Socs. It takes place in a greaser neighborhood. The girl who wrote this book was only 15. Ms. Nakada said, "I hope everyone did their reading," and Cushan said, "You know me, Ms. Nakada." The class is kinda quiet today. I wonder why, oh DJ is gone. Cushan got some starring problems. We are taking out our Perfect Paragraph I am doing mine on my winter life. Cushan keeps on singing. Ms nakada is explaining how to use an Alphasmart. Cushan is still singing but now to Cindy. Kemonte is so annoying. He never stops talking. Cushan. Gary can't listen to his ipod no more because he was talking to Cushan. He's trying to lie and say he wasn't talking. When I went over to get my Alphasmart like always Samantha told me I'm looking beautiful.

                Right now we are going over our maps and notes. We need to know the main thing like what they wore what they eat what the weather is like, shelter and environment. Kemonte and Cushan are still starring at each other. They are throwing things all over. Dang, we do so many cornell notes. It's way too much. We always have to do them for everything. Cushan is scaring Andrea. Cushan got caught messing with her. Ms. Nakada is SHH. My side of the room is North America. Cushon is saying that Angela is racist. Ms. Nakada is explaining that our great, great, great, great, great, grandparents walked very far to get here. She said that it took them thousands of years. Gary said "OH MY GOD." So many people came to this room from the office. TK walked in and Cushan said, "YOU LOOKIN HANDSOME." Dang, I hate doing the blog. I can't do my work and type at the same time. Gary called Amber Cristina Columbus. 90 percent of native americans died from diseeses. Cushan said he has been around for thousands of years. Gary said Kemonte look like he's from Africa. Cindy said Cushan is pulling her hair He said"NO I'M NOOOTT." Sorry. My blog wasn't funny. I was trying to pay attention.

Tiera and Gary are taking a quiz. Tiera just asked herself in what country we live in. Darrell just yelled out something he wasn't supposed to.We are in history class drawing a map of North America.(Me too) Darrell just said, "He's a man child!!"While Gary is taking the test he arguing with Kemonte. Cushan and DJ are laughing about something, but idk. Cindy wants the crayons, but Cushan didn't want to share. Darrell and the rest want to be in the blog, I guess, because they keep on telling me "Put it in the blog" Tiera was talking with Gary and he is not finishing his test. We are now working in groups. Ms. Nakada just told Gary to finish his test because he is just talking and talking. My group is doing the Great Basin. Where I sit nobody leaves me alone because they want to see the blog. (OMG) Gary finish your test please not trying to be mean or anything, but you are such a BIG MOUTH!! Everybody is working in their groups,but it is too noisy. Gary and Tiera are fighting over the country we live in. Josh is just playing around with a little Batman stuff doll and in his own world. DJ is creeping me out because the way he laughs is weird!! :/ Gary and darrell must be hungry because Gary wants a sourdough sandwich, and DJ wants some nachos. We have to present our circle maps to the class. We also have to be writing notes about the different Native American cultures. DJ is talking about SpongeBob Square Pants. Gary said he is part Cherokee Indian LOL!! (sure) (mmmhhhhhh)

Ms. Nakada is reading The Outsiders and nothing is really happening. Everybody is reading except Samantha. She's over there daydreaming. Now we're reading on are own still nothings happening. Kemonte is moaning thinking its funny but its not. Somebody phone just went off in class and Josh fell asleep in class. Everybody is laughing at him. DJ started laughing out of nowhere and now we are done with reading and we are talking about the book. Kemonte won't stop talking. He's over there getting on Andrew's nerves. We just got done with writing about the characters in the book. Were are going over the Step-up to Writing process. Cushan's over here talking about how Ms. Shanley is 62. Now we are writing about our paragraphs.  I'm writing about my summer vacation. Now class is over. Nothing funny happened but Josh going to sleep in class.

Today in class we are having a popcorn & popsicle Party! YAY... Man. what can I say. I love Ms. Nakada's class :)....(Best teacher EVER)lol Joshua just said sucking on popsicles is weird? Now he and Anthony are debating about the sucking of popsicles? WEIRDOS.Lol Amber's sitting over here saying put me in it put me in it! Okay Amber, just SHUT UP jk. As I look around the class I see everybody licking their popsicles. I'm licking my popsicle thinking wow this is awesome(Amber). Now back to what i was saying, why is Cushan just staring at Andrew??okay?.OO Anthony's NOT wearing a collard shirt. haha Darrell is stealing popcorn from Omayra. He said want me to help you with that? Lol he's crazie :).

Okay back to class work. Now we are reading "The Eagle" and now Ms. Nakada is passing out The Outsiders books. Amber says the people on the cover look like ninjas haha. Okay Amber? What's up with Cindy? She's like in her own world daydreaming. We are now about to do a characterization for The Outsiders. Ms. Nakada is having us write a circle map about the book we are starting to read. Ms. Nakada is describing how Ponyboy looks. She is also beginning to read the book to us. Yay! The bell has just rung!

Amber is taking over now cause I'm a  ninja! haha Anthony was dancing to the hammer noise out side woah hahah! haha Okay shavon is here now so bye bye.

Me again (Shavon). The bell just rung for history. Ughh I really don't wanna take this test!! Now I'am reviewing my Cornell Note's with Amber. Man i HOPE i get a good grade on this test! Andrew came to look at the blog. He's too close (Amber). Okay, now we are rearranging tables. Oh my God this freaking hammer noise is getting on mah nerves and I'm right by the window! Amber is doing something very weird with her arm?It's freaking me out. Okay, Imma go for a bit so I can do this test. Okay I'm back and surprisingly the test was easy! I think I aced it ;). Guess you could say I know my continents pretty well. Hmm what are Cindy and Cushan over there giggling about? Now almost everybody is just about done with there test. Hope we all did good :)

Today in Ms.Nakada's class we started out reading a poem called "The Eagle" when she used this odd phrase "taking the top of your head" which the first thing that popped into my head was that you'd die or it would hurt ALOT but then she explained and I pretended to get it but... no it sounds to weird. Next we started on the visualization and we listened to seven songs and we had to write what we saw in our minds and imagine what the situation is and it was surprisingly easy. Next we went to the page about topics and stuff and wrote down what we wanna write about. Nothing really hilarious happened besides Darrell saying "she's a man child"and the occasional awkward cough. Sad. Time for history.

Beautiful Cornell Notes

In history we started doing the timeline again and while others talked surprising thing was the the one that usually talk the most (Darrell and Leslie) told everyone else to shut up. As we started on the timelines a lot of us went onto our ipods including myself (watching others talk and no words coming out just music is EPIC). Ms. Nakada smells bacon and I do too now. Hahaha, awesome....... I want a" Wakin' Bacon"...damn it.

Then we started on cornell notes and it sucks I've always hated them but it's getting better over time for me. As Ms. lectures us on how notes are important and Leslie lecturing Ms.  on the same thing. This class was boring and I'm sorry it wasn't a funny lolcano.

Darrell read his blog from yesterday, which was pretty funny. After he got done reading, Ms. Nakada checked our reading journal and collected our ET forms while everyone read. Samantha looked very lost while everyone was reading...smh all bad! Cushan smelled something funky and asked Darrell if he farted lol wow. EVERY TIME I typed people stared at me. That was creepy. WOW! Our class hardly anybody did their reading journal! That's sad. Most of us got a D for our reading journal. We have to work on that. Next ,we opened our English notebook and began on writing down our English scores. Finally, we packed up and got ready for history:)Shavon said aloud, "Imma pee on myself." omg WEIRDO!

HISTORY has just began we opened our history notebook and went to our timelines. Ms. Nakada said dry erase markers make her happy. Ookkayy that's umm nice? We are now going over what we learned in sixth and seventh grade. Ms. Nakada saying, dude lol awesome:)

CUSHAN TAKING OVER (because Cindy got a summons)!! Aha! Sooooo, Teira just got a summons to the office. Hold on. Tell me why I got in trouble because Darrell was holding up the stairs and they finally broke the line and at least 15 people walked over me and Ms. Berman looked at me because I used the rail to bring myself back up and she tells me to come to her classroom for no reason! She has mad problems!

NOW BACK TO CINDY'S BLOG NOT CUSHAN'S!! Sorry he had to come in and type. I got a summons now.  Soooo, Ms. Nakada and Darrell and Cushan are fighting over football.  We all had to write 10 events from our life for a timeline.  Wowwww, smh. Darrell singing pretty boy swagg lol.

We walked in the class room and sat in our seats. A student named Vanessa read the blog for today. She talked about me farting in class. It was a little mean. I wasn't tripping though. It was funny. She got me on that one. LOL. Once again, I made Samantha laugh. Why is ''HE'S UH MON CHILD" funny to you? I think it's how I say it. I always make people laugh.


Ms. Nakada gave us a history book to take home. She tells everyone to open the book and turn to page A1. Ms. Gonnella, our school principal walks in our room to see what Ms. Nakada is teaching. I tell my friend Gary, "I'm about to fart again." LOL. My neighbor Jennifer says, "Darrell, don't do it. Go outside." Gary starts laughing like an retarded possum in a dark alley. LOL. Ms. Nakada says, "Are you ready to do some drawing?" Andrew says, "No." I fart again and Ms. Nakada says, "SMH." Cindy says, "What did you eat?" Gary says, "EVERYTHING." Cindy says, "It smells like my nieces diaper." 

We start drawing a map of the world. Cushan starts all over on his paper because he wants it to be neat. We ask Cushan if he can do the pin drop and he says, "I never did that in my life." Jennifer says, "The pin drop is when the pin drop." LOL. Why does Joshua look like the skater BIG BLACK. That's funny because he really does though.

We drew a map of the United States too and then started time lines.

First we talked about points we get for everyone being in class. We earned 5 points because some classmates donated supplies to our classroom. Then we read the blog from yesterday. Well, we were reading it everyone started to laugh because of what the last blogger wrote.

Ms. Nakada is showing us how to start our reading journal. Ms. Nakada says she has to read every book that becomes a movie.  We are talking about The Book Thief. Darrell was saying no no no no no! because Ms. Nakada said we couldn't read 60 pages from our reading books.

NO SPOILERS! If we read a book that our teacher is reading we have to write spoiler alert on it. Out of nowhere Darrell starts kissing his book! Weird. We don't want our parents to see our AR scores! DON'T TELL THEM MS NAKADA PLEASE!!!   Darrell your name has been on the board for like 30 minutes already and you barely noticed it.

We are writing in our English notebooks. Darrell, "READ IT FOR THE LAST TIME JUST READ IT!" He always copies the teacher. Then farts in class, a very loud one for all to hear. LOL  We started our reading journals and English notebooks with the writing process and topics we want to write about.

Darrell is yelling "HE A MAN CHILD!' I want to let you know how NOT funny that was. Darrell, I'm on your head! Right at the moment, Ms. Nakada is taking roll and for some reason some people can't stop laughing (Darrell) shaking my head. I'm excited to be doing the second blog of the year. I have a feeling this gonna be a good year lol! Samantha has some white stuff on the top of her eye and I'm just staring at her not saying anything lol. Ms. Nakada at the moment is making a seating chart for the class, while everybody else reads their book, EXCEPT ME! ha. ha. Man, blogging is fun, I must say. Whoa Ms. Nakada cries herself to sleep. TRAGIC! And she was serious. Seems like Ms. Nakada doesn't know the names yet of her students, but she just called Kemonte Quinton shaking my head... again.

I'm going to go home and going to read a book. I'm going to get in the zone! Andrew and Daniel just walked in carrying a backpack full of books! Andrew I'm on your head! Man, I can't wait to go watch that new king kong movie starring Darrell!

History class has just began. Ms. Nakada is reading everybody the independent reading rubric, she is pretty much saying to use your reading time wisely and don't waste your time and not do anything! Because when the report cards are about to come out, you're gonna wanna make it up and you're gonna be the one looking stupid. Lol everybody needs to get a 4 though. Dang, Darrell has been quiet for the longest (5 mins.) Ms. Nakada named her dog after a book lol. It's cool though. I'm going to do my artifact observation real quick. I'll be back. I am back lol.

Welcome to the first blog for my third period English and fourth period US History classes!

After nutrition today, I was anxious to meet my third and fourth period classes.  Students started writing down the agenda while I took attendance.  It was great to meet my new students and although some seemed less than happy about being in my class, many showed lots of enthusiasm (thanks, Darrell).  There was a little teasing (two broken arms, sitting right next to one another?), some people are not fans of the Ducks (um, they're ranked #5 in the nation people) and I can already tell this is going to be a fun class.

I passed out the course outlines for English and US History and we talked about all that we are going to learn in the eighth grade.  We talked about respect, homework and grades and I hope that everyone will keep their AEE for many weeks to come.  Before the break between English and history, Mr. Morrison stopped by and I learned his nickname is Duck Duck.  Wha huh?  Weird.

Vanessa had to get her schedule changed so right before the end of the period she left to get that changed and we took a little break.

Everyone came back to class on time (YAY!) and we took a look at some artifacts like real historians would.  Little did my students know, these were artifacts from my life so everyone got to see little kid pictures of me in ugly pants, short basketball shorts, and surrounded by my unique family.

Everyone completed the assignment, and before lunch, we named our blog (this one you are reading right now).  I can't wait to see what my students will bring in tomorrow for history class when we'll all start learning one another's stories.
