Three Cups of Tea Wordle

On Monday we met in the computer lab.  The first thing we did was go to Wordle.  We wrote down our name four times and then we typed ThreeCupsofTea six times.  Then we had to write down as many important words from the book as we could.  Then we got to create word clouds of our words.

Then we worked on our student profiles from the interviews we did last week.  Some of the profiles with the taxedo images are really cool.  Here is the tagxedo I made for my profile on Gary.  Wordle and Tagxedo are cool ways to add images using text!

We were in the computer lab again today!  This time we finished our student profiles and I had to rush everyone because they needed to finish.  Then we talked about the new research assignment we're doing about a history topic.  Many students are researching amendments of the consitution and how they impact us today. Others are researching famous American speeches or Native American cultures.  A few people are looking at slavery too.
